Today in Pasadena we went to Afters Ice Cream. They are famous for their Milky Buns which are served with your choice of ice cream and a variety of toppings.

The “cookie monster” ice cream is blue and filled with Oreos. I chose to top the ice cream with Oreos. I quickly became a sticky mess with blue teeth but I enjoyed every bite.

Though Nick and I both chose cookie monster ice cream, Suzanne chose the frozen hot chocolate and Craig picked the churro flavor. The frozen hot chocolate tasted just as it should with mini marshmallows and a creamy malty taste. The churro was the perfect amount of cinnamon and sweet.

I was so looking forward to visiting this repurposed gas station and am so happy that it exceeded my expectations.
